Event Description:
GLASS BEADMAKING KEVIN BOYLAN, INSTRUCTOR Experience the thrill of sculpting in melted glass! Kevin will guide participants in the safe use of oxy/propane torches to melt and wrap glass rods into flame worked beads. All materials and tools will be provided, including glass in a wide range of colors. No experience is necessary: you’ll learn all about the tools, studio setup and safety. This workshop will include demonstrations and short lectures, but most class time will be devoted to hands-on torch time, and each student will head home with a handful of patterned glass beads. SATURDAY & SUNDAY, APRIL 22 & 23, NOON - 4:00PM $85 MEMBERS / $90 NON-MEMBERS + $20 MATERIALS FEE
