HYDROPONICS: A BETTER WAY TO GROW YOUR FOOD AT HOME RICHARD BERTRAM, INSTRUCTOR No space for a garden? You can still grow your own produce with hydroponics! Mix nutrients, water, light and air in the right proportions and you have the ingredients for phenomenal plant growth- no soil required! All levels of gardener are welcome to attend. Participants will build their own Dutch bucket hydroponics system and plant it with cherry tomato starts that will produce all season. And for students who want to take their systems a step further, Richard will share how to make a totally self-sustained Dutch bucket by adding a water pump. Students interested in adding a water pump to their system can purchase materials directly from Richard during the workshop for $20. Adding a water pump is optional, and all other supplies are included in the class materials fee. SATURDAY, APRIL 29, 9:00-11:00AM $15 MEMBERS / $20 NON-MEMBERS + $15 MATERIALS FEE
